Be honest. Nobody gets exposed.
You are about to ask five people to say something slightly awkward about you. They will only do it straight if they are sure it cannot be traced back. So will you, before you send it. Here is word for word what each of them is told.
The message they receive
Your name chose you as someone whose perspective matters. They're creating a private AskFive Portrait. It takes about three minutes. Your exact words will never be shown, and nothing will be attributed to you. You can skip any question or decline privately.
This is what all five of them see, in full. It is fixed. The person inviting them cannot change a word of it.
Six promises, kept by the design
You never see their words
Not quoted, not attributed, not reworded closely enough to guess from. What reaches you is a pattern several of them described separately, written from the evidence rather than from anyone's sentences.
One voice is not a finding
Nobody can put a line in your results on their own, however strongly they feel about it. If only one of your five said it, it is not evidence yet. It waits, or it is dropped.
Every question can be skipped
All of them. No penalty, no progress bar shaming anyone, no follow-up asking why. What a person will not answer is a real answer about where their limit is.
Saying no stays private
Anyone who would rather not do this declines on the same page, and you are never told who. You see how many finished. You never see who opened it, stalled, or walked away.
Recordings die within a day
Voice is optional everywhere and typing is always offered instead. When someone does speak, the audio is deleted within 24 hours. No voiceprint, no speaker matching, no reading emotion out of a waveform.
Nothing hostile gets through
Every written answer passes a safety check before it can count as evidence. Anything that reads as retaliation never enters the pipeline. This cannot be used to have a go at someone from behind a curtain.
What this costs you
Those promises are not free, and you should know what you are giving up. You will never learn who said what. You cannot go and ask one person about one line. If your five answer thinly, you get a short result instead of a padded one. If they all go easy on you, we tell you that before you pay, not after you have read it.
Every one of those is deliberate. A product that let you trace a comment back to a friend would get you more detail once, and the truth never again.
